Where to find itAssistantTransfer calls
Choose who on your team gets the call, in which cases, and when they’re available.
1. Add a recipient
- In Transfer calls, press Add recipient.
- Type a Name, like “Reception” or “Sales team”.
- Pick the Country and type the Phone number.
- In Transfer when, describe the situations when the call should be transferred.
2. Set when they’re available
Choose Always or Set hours. With set hours, you can add up to four windows per day, and the recipient is only available within them.
3. Plan a fallback
Explain in the instructions what to do if the transfer can’t go through. For example, it can take a name and phone number so the team can follow up. If you want an alert, set up an email after the call.
4. Test it by phone
Transfers can only be tested with a phone call. The browser test can’t check them. Once the assistant has a number, call it and ask to speak to the recipient.
Important
If the destination phone also forwards to the assistant, the call can loop. To avoid it, use a destination phone without that forwarding.
Good to know
You can set up to 10 recipients.
