In Book appointments, find Booking rules and then Appointments.
| Option | When to use it |
|---|---|
| Fixed length | Every appointment takes the same time, for example 30 minutes. |
| By appointment type | The caller picks a type, and each type has its own length. For example, a first visit takes 45 minutes and a checkup 20. |
Add an appointment type
- Select By appointment type and press Add appointment type.
- Type a clear name, like “First visit”.
- Set the length in hours and minutes.
- Add a short description of what it’s for.
- Repeat for the other types and press Save.
First visit · 45 min
For people coming for the first time who want to explain what they need.
Checkup · 20 min
For customers in ongoing treatment.
Before saving
- Every type needs a name.
- Lengths go in 5-minute steps, from 5 minutes to 10 hours.
- The appointment must fit in an open window: a 3-hour appointment needs 3 free hours in a row.
