Where to find itPhone Numbers
In Phone Numbers you can see each number, its usage, and the assistant that answers it.
Number actions
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Assign to assistant / Change assignment | Choose which assistant answers that number. |
| Copy number | Copies it, for example to set up forwarding. |
| Detach from assistant | The assistant stops answering that number. The number stays in your plan. |
Important
Changing or removing an assignment changes who answers that number right away.
Notices you may see
| Notice | What it means |
|---|---|
| “Ends” and a date | The number stops being available on that date because of a plan change. It keeps answering until then. |
| “Your subscription is inactive” | Numbers are released after the grace period. Start a plan again in Plans. |
| “1 of your included numbers is still being provisioned” | A number from your plan is being prepared. It appears here when it’s ready. |
After any change
Call the number and check who answers. If you have forwarding, call your usual number too.
