Where to find itAssistantPrompt / Instructions
The instructions (the prompt) tell the assistant how to answer during the call. You’ll find them in Prompt / Instructions.
Prepare the instructions with AI
- Press Generate with AI (or Regenerate if you already prepared instructions).
- If you have a website, add it in Business website for context.
- In What should this assistant do?, describe its main job and how you want it to answer.
- Press Generate, check the text is right for your business, and save.
Important
Generating again replaces the current prompt. Copy any part you want to keep first, and review the new text afterward.
What to include
- Which business it represents and which requests it can handle.
- Confirmed services, hours, prices, and terms.
- Which details to ask for, when, and one at a time.
- When it should book, send an email, or transfer a call.
- How to answer when it can’t find the information or doesn’t know what to say.
There’s a full template in Templates. Press Expand to edit with more room.
Set up the actions too
Instructions alone don’t turn on actions like booking appointments or sending emails. Set up each action in its own section: calendar, emails, or transfers.
Improve them after a test
Open the call in Conversations and find the answer or action that went wrong. Adjust that rule, then ask the same question again and compare the result. Avoid adding instructions that contradict each other.
